About The Position

A well-established, family-owned custom cabinet and millwork shop in the Green Bay area is looking for an experienced cabinet builder to join its production team. This shop builds one-of-a-kind, high-end cabinetry and architectural millwork for luxury new-construction homes — not stock cabinet runs. Every project is different, which means every day in the shop is different too. The role involves fabricating custom cabinetry and specialty millwork from raw material to finished piece, working with exotic hardwoods, premium veneers, solid surfaces, and integrated hardware. It calls for tight, seamless joinery — miters, mortise-and-tenon, custom profiles — and comfort running shop machinery: table saws, shapers, routers, CNC, edge-banders. Work is built directly from architectural blueprints and shop drawings (read from a tablet), with an eye for optimizing material layout and inspecting every piece for squareness and structural integrity before it leaves the shop.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in custom cabinetmaking, fine woodworking, or architectural millwork
  • Deep knowledge of wood species, grain matching, and advanced joinery techniques
  • Comfort reading blueprints and shop drawings
  • Strong math/spatial skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 75+ lbs
  • A steady work history
