About The Position

LandSea is seeking Cabin Stewards to work onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger "Floatel" operating out of Squamish, British Columbia. This role involves maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and service in guest staterooms, public areas, and open decks. The position is unionized under UNITE HERE! Local 40, with employment on contract from July 25, 2026, to January 30, 2027. Crew members are provided with accommodation, meals, WIFI, and access to health/gym facilities when off duty. Partial uniforms are provided, and assistance with travel/reservations is offered. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are available.

Requirements

  • Prior experience on a cruise ship or within the hospitality industry.
  • Understanding of public health and environment requirements relating to cabin service.
  • Ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (read, write, and speak English).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and as a team player who supports, motivates, and encourages others.
  • Must provide at least 2 professional work references.
  • Must provide photo identification (PDF of photo ID) to verify identity during virtual interview.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining staterooms as well as public areas onboard a vessel.
  • Make beds and clean the bathroom.
  • Provide fresh linens, tidy up, vacuum, empty trash bins and replenish bath amenities as needed.
  • Responsible for delivering important printed notices, such as bulletins or policies.
  • Will be required to assist during safety drills or evacuation.
