About The Position

The Cabin Supervisor will effectively supervise personnel ensuring optimal performance in cabin cleaning. This role provides leadership to staff through effective objectives, setting delegation, and communication, and conducts staff meetings as required. The supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations (cabin services) with primary responsibility for cabin cleaning, scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, payroll, and overtime of the operation. They will ensure that personnel are well-trained effectively and optimally, instructing them regarding policy, procedures, and program changes. The position involves formulating and implementing corrective actions as needed, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and promptly and courteously resolving employee questions and/or problems. The Cabin Supervisor assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination between client and company standards, acting as a company representative to ensure service quality meets or exceeds client and company expectations. They will ensure management is appropriately informed of issues or significant problems, complete related reports accurately and timely, and attend meetings periodically as required. This role also assumes responsibility for the accuracy of staff hours worked/scheduled, manages hours information accurately, and provides all information to the time and attendance department. The supervisor ensures hours schedules and work match client and company requirements, complies with labor/wage laws, and ensures all federal, state, and local posters are displayed for employee knowledge. A professional appearance and demeanor towards co-workers, clients, and others within the airport and work location is required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skill)
  • At least 3 years or more of related work in airport operation
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish / English
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand the documented processes and procedures needed
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement under a dynamic environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with an emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
