About The Position
JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. The selected candidate will be responsible to build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo Systems features of the JetZero Blended Wing Body Aircraft. This role involves managing the product lifecycle from development through Entry Into Service and beyond, including developing interface and integration requirements, digital models, parts/models, manufacturing installations, and supporting the certification team with documentation. The role also includes developing and deploying processes and tools, and managing supplier development and governance activities.
Requirements
- Previous development and leadership experience with Commercial or Corporate Aircraft Cabin Systems development (10 years or more).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of Siemens Suite : NX, Teamcenter, etc.
- Knowledgeable of digital twin environments or model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
- Understanding of Aircraft Systems requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation standards.
- Collaborative and innovative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of specialists to integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders for Cabin and Cargo Systems.
- Develop interface and integration requirements and digital models with internal teams and external commodity suppliers and manage same through the product lifecycle.
- Develop and release parts/models and manufacturing installations.
- Support certification team with applicable documentation.
- Develop and deploy processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Manage supplier development and related governance activities.
