About The Position

JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. The selected candidate will be responsible to build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo features of the JetZero Blended Wing Body Aircraft. This includes commodities such as Cabin Monuments (Galleys, Lavatories, Stowages, Partitions, Crew Rests), Cabin Linings, Overhead Stowage Compartments, Passenger Seats of all classes, Flight Crew and Cabin Crew Seats, Cargo Compartment Linings and Equipment, Emergency Equipment and Galley Inserts, Trim & Finish, and Placards & Markings. Individual and team activities include developing interface and integration requirements and digital models, managing them through the product lifecycle, developing and releasing parts/models and manufacturing installations, supporting the certification team with documentation, and developing and deploying processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role also involves managing supplier development and related governance activities.

Requirements

  • Previous development and leadership experience with Commercial or Corporate Aircraft Cabin development (10 years or more).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Suite: NX, Teamcenter, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of digital twin environments or model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
  • Understanding of Aircraft installation practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation standards.
  • Collaborative and innovative spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of specialists to integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders for Cabin and Cargo features.
  • Develop interface and integration requirements and digital models with internal teams and external commodity suppliers.
  • Manage cabin and cargo features through the product lifecycle, from development through Entry Into Service and beyond.
  • Develop and release parts/models and manufacturing installations.
  • Support the certification team with applicable documentation.
  • Develop and deploy processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier development and related governance activities.
