About The Position

Banner Defense is looking for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join their team. This role involves supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) as a member of a support staff team. The position requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher)
  • Master's degree and 12+ years' relevant experience OR: Bachelor's degree and 20+ years relevant experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
  • Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
  • Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
  • Experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD program
  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution

Responsibilities

  • Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
  • Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
  • Support and interact on a daily basis with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and have the ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)
  • Travel as required
