About The Position

PeopleTec is seeking a full-time C2BMC Advanced Technology Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Future Spirals of Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communication (C2BMC) in Huntsville, Alabama. The position provides systems engineering and related program office support to the MDA/BCDV Chief Engineer in a fast-paced environment. The role is based onsite and may require travel approximately 5% of the time to prime contractor sites, other program offices, integration sites, and applicable laboratories within the continental United States. Candidates must be able to perform assignments independently and collaboratively, and may lead teams or tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, technology, or science.
Active DoD Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain that clearance during employment.
U.S. citizenship.
Experience generating and/or reviewing artifacts for major engineering technical reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and IETR events.
Experience assessing technical requirements and/or Interface Control Documents.
Experience generating executive summaries and informational briefings for government decision makers.
Practical and theoretical technical or engineering knowledge in infrared and/or RF sensor systems.
Ability to work independently, as a team member, or lead teams/tasks to solve engineering or scientific problems.
Ability to lead implementation of systems engineering processes to facilitate integration and transition of emerging capabilities.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Proven written and spoken communication skills.
BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on exploitation of infrared sensor data.
Familiarity with current missile threats to the CONUS and Combatant Commands.
Experience conducting technical reviews or writing Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) proposals.
Familiarity with orbital mechanics.
Experience or familiarity with MDA weapon systems, radars, C2BMC, or BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA).
Technical experience detecting or tracking objects with 2-D infrared sensor data.
Experience developing kill assessment algorithms/tools or related technologies such as lethality determination.
Experience writing statements of work and/or engineering cost estimates.
Experience formulating operational concepts for missile defense applications.
Experience integrating elements into missile defense weapon systems, including sensor fusion, timeline analysis, engagement planning, state diagrams, and ICDs.
Familiarity with C2BMC and/or Overhead Persistent GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) message sets.
Familiarity with assessing Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs).
Experience generating Test Objective Memorandums for MDA flight tests.
Experience managing Task Management Tool (TMT) taskers within MDA.
Experience reviewing technical content associated with TMT taskers.
Familiarity with the Agile Software development process.
MA/MS in a related field with 12 years of experience.
