C2 Outbound Distribution Lead
About The Position
This role is for an OB Distribution Lead responsible for various warehouse operations including loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials, and picking, packing, labeling, and shipping products. The position requires effective communication, the ability to follow instructions, and adherence to company standards. Key duties involve maintaining logs, ensuring product condition, moving materials using the FEFO standard, assisting the distribution supervisor, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. The role also involves operating a forklift and utilizing Blue Yonder systems.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal)
- Safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain all company standards
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk or stand for most of the shift
- Must be able to operate a Forklift in a safe manner
- Self-starter; Ability to make sound decisions
- Deliver quality products and services through continuous improvement; Adhere to company standards and operating procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions
- Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional teams
- Must pass forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules &Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving materials and products
- Picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products
- Operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Maintaining receiving/shipping logs
- Ensuring incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
- Moving materials to the production area using the FEFO standard
- Assisting the distribution supervisor in ensuring labor is on task and quality standards are met
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
- Operating a Forklift in a safe manner
- Utilizing Blue Yonder systems as instructed to ensure proper movement of product in FEFO order
- Demonstrating and promoting a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives
- Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail
- Promoting and ensuring a safe work environment
