About The Position

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree. Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th 2026. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to support the Global Operations Excellence team. This internship offers hands-on experience in driving continuous improvement and contributing to strategic initiatives that make a real impact across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous internship in continuous improvement, operational excellence, industrial engineering, project management, or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to influence, listen actively and collaborate.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
  • All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal.
  • They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
  • All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification Six Sigma Ceinture verte/noire, PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects by applying recognized methodologies such as PDCA, 8D, A3, Lean Six Sigma, and BPM (Business Process Management).
  • Build process maps and identify inefficiencies.
  • Perform gap analyses to determine areas for improvement.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops focused on problem-solving, root cause analysis, process mapping and other related topics.
  • Identify, recommend and implement solutions.
  • Create and communicate the action plans to implement the solutions.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the continuous improvement projects to ensure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various CAE sites.
