Requirements

3-10 years of hands-on OOP development experience.
Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline required.
Strong technical and problem-solving (troubleshooting) skills.
5+ years of C++ development experience (C++17 or C++ 20).
Good understanding of Linux.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Multicast network protocols.
Experience with SQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, csh, bash).
Excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to quickly resolve issues under pressure.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new features, algorithms, and enhancements for the trading application.
Optimize applications for speed and correct bugs.
Interact with traders and quantitative researchers to analyze new ideas and requirements.
Monitor the trading platform to ensure stability and proper functioning.
Maintain, improve, stabilize, and automate the platform to reduce manual interventions.
Provide assistance to users (traders and researchers).
Collaborate with IT Infra teams to ensure the proper functioning of servers, firewalls, switches, databases, filers, and connectivity.
Interact with Operations to ensure proper accounting of desk positions and feed booking to Back-Office systems.
Liaise with compliance teams to understand the impact of regulations on the trading platform.
