About The Position

ProSidian seeks a C&SCM Contracts Management Consultant (FAR/DEAR) for strategic advisory and contract optimization. This role supports a NNSA contractor managing nuclear site operations with complex regulatory and procurement requirements. The consultant will manage the contract lifecycle, develop terms and conditions, support procurement strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and administer subcontract processes. The goal is to improve contract lifecycle procedures, terms, and acquisition controls for compliant and efficient Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) execution. This is a hybrid role, involving both on-site and virtual work, primarily in the Aiken, SC area and across the Southeastern USA Region. The position is initially a 1099 contract, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time W-2 position.

Requirements

  • 8+ years contracts, procurement, acquisition, subcontract management, or supply chain contracting experience in federal, defense, DOE/NNSA, M&O, or regulated infrastructure environments.
  • Experience developing clauses, T&Cs, templates, and contract administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in contracts, acquisition, business, supply chain, law, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other tools as needed.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manages contract lifecycle, develops terms and conditions, supports procurement strategy, ensures regulatory compliance, and administers subcontract processes.
  • Improves contract lifecycle procedures, terms, and acquisition controls supporting compliant and efficient C&SCM execution.
  • Analyzes prime contracts, FAR/DEAR requirements, decomposing obligations into compliant, actionable C&SCM procedures and execution frameworks.
  • Develops recommended amendments to the prime contract to gain efficiencies.
  • Conducts strategic advisory and contract optimization.
  • Provides recommendations for prime contract amendments.
  • Identifies efficiency and process optimization opportunities.
  • Benchmarks against best practices for Nuclear and Environmental Management Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM).
  • Establishes a communication plan that outlines the frequency and methods of communication with stakeholders.
  • Conducts an in-depth review and analysis of the prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
  • Develops and customizes procurement and supply chain procedures.
  • Creates and updates supporting documents, forms, terms, and conditions reflecting the newly developed procedures.
  • Develops acquisition life cycle flow charts.
  • Implements support through both virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Establishes mechanisms for continuous improvement by regularly collecting feedback and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Maintains procedural, form, and terms and conditions compliance resulting from changes to prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
  • Assesses pre-award, award, post-award, subcontract administration, modifications, closeout, and terms-and-conditions processes.
  • Recommends contract amendments.
  • Aligns contract instruments with updated procedures.
  • Supports supplier-facing requirements and flow-down structures.
