C RATE TECHNICIAN - ELEC SHOP
About The Position
Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for an Electronic Shop Technician. This position diagnosis, repairs and maintains all electronic components, assembles, and sub-assembles of all company vehicles, computers, security equipment, computerized fueling systems, and other related equipment. The incumbent diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures to components in company vehicles, computers, printers, security equipment, computerized fueling systems, printed circuit boards used in fare collection equipment, radios, destination signs, and other related equipment.
Requirements
- Two years’ experience in electronics specialty or in repairing two-way communication equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and repairs the following electronic equipment to the journeyman level: fare collection equipment, radio equipment, route signs, computers, base station equipment, fare collection vault, and voltage regulators.
- Repairs and tests electronics sub-assemblies to the journeyman level.
- Modifies and installs, with assistance, new electronic equipment such as radios, P.A. systems, and electronic sub-assemblies as needed.
- Programs destination signs and radios.
- Responds to road calls to repair electronic equipment as needed.
Benefits
- SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY 2nd Shift $2.00 per hour (shifts starting a 1 pm or later)
- 3rd Shift $3.00 per hour (shifts starting at 10 pm or later)
- Weekend Any Shifts $4.00 per hour (shifts with a start time that begin on a Saturday or Sunday)
