C++ Developer

The C++ developer will join Engineers Gate's Core Technology Team, working on building and scaling the company's central trading system. They will be involved in both greenfield projects and enhancing existing components. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with team members and end users, gaining exposure to various areas of the firm such as trading, data, research, operations, and risk. The developer will have immediate firmwide impact and play a key role in developing various components of the proprietary trading system.

• Develop various components of the proprietary trading system, such as exchange/broker connectivity, order management system, feed handlers, monitoring system, and build/deployment system.
• Collaborate with internal end users to design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

• Strong proficiency in C++
• Experience in developing components of a trading system, including exchange/broker connectivity, order management system, feed handlers, monitoring system, and build/deployment system
• Ability to design and implement new features and enhancements in collaboration with internal end users
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Knowledge of statistical models and their application in generating investment returns is a plus
• Familiarity with the global financial markets and problem-solving in this domain
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to work in a small, focused team and collaborate effectively with team members and end users
