About The Position

The C-12/ King Air Army Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor/ Operations Manager will manage a team of C-12 A&P Mechanics who perform organizational level maintenance on Army C-12 / King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft. This role involves planning and coordinating all aircraft inspections, monitoring and maintaining documents of all aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and dispatching and monitoring all assigned tasks. The position requires close collaboration with the Operations Department to ensure aircraft availability for the flight schedule, assisting in the documentation of aircraft flight time and maintenance discrepancies, and monitoring the Amentum/MRO system to report all work performed. The role also includes preparing reports, tracking and documenting aircraft maintenance (scheduled, unscheduled, TBO’s, SB, S.I. L’s, A.D.’s), and maintaining aircraft historical records. A strong understanding of Army Aviation Regulations, Policies and Procedures, including AR 95-20 and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations, is essential. The supervisor will verify Maintenance Action Documentation, work with Program Regional Managers, and train site employees on proper work methods and GOP procedures. Review of the Quality Management System (QMS) - QT9 and AMRO for aircraft status, calibrations, training, etc., is also part of the responsibilities. Ensuring LGOPs are performed and align with GOP procedures, and reviewing/submitting NRT requests are also key duties. The role requires monitoring that all required maintenance has been performed before flights and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A valid (FAA) A&P Certificate is Required.
  • Extensive background and experience in Army Fixed Wing Aviation Maintenance, specifically Army C-12 / King Air (200,350,1900) aircraft maintenance.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Aviation Maintenance supervisory experience is Required.
  • US Citizenship is Required to obtain the US Govt Secret Security Clearance, and for facility and base access.
  • Must possess a Valid (FAA) A&P Certificate.
  • A minimum of Five (5) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience Required; with extensive knowledge and background in C-12/King Air Turboprop aircraft maintenance and material support.
  • Of the Five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience, a minimum of Two (2) years must be in an Aviation supervisory role.
  • Must be skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management, with prior experience supervising daily flight operations personnel, supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Must have strong planning/organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Requires knowledge and experience assigning program workloads and mechanic duties for a multiple shift operation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large and diverse workforce is required, with the ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels.
  • Experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
  • A valid Driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization.
  • US Citizenship is Required to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.
  • Required to obtain a Govt. issued Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Knowledgeable of DA PAM 738-751 and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures.
  • Possess working knowledge of applicable aircraft.
  • Experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of C-12 A&P Mechanics performing organizational level maintenance on Army C-12 / King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft.
  • Plan and coordinate all aircraft inspections (special, conditional, phase, etc.).
  • Monitor and maintain documents of all aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Dispatch and monitor all assigned tasks and associated jobs to work centers.
  • Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure Aircraft are available to meet the Flight Schedule.
  • Assist in the documentation of aircraft flight time and maintenance discrepancies.
  • Monitor the Amentum/MRO system to report all work performed.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in support of aircraft long range maintenance requirements.
  • Track and document Aircraft Maintenance, including scheduled, unscheduled, TBO’s, SB, S.I. L’s, A.D.’s.
  • Maintain aircraft historical records, and other aircraft files in support of aircraft maintenance.
  • Enforce compliance with all current sections of the Army Regulation (AR) 95-20, FAA Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to aircraft maintenance.
  • Verify Maintenance Action Documentation prior to submission to the US Army.
  • Work closely with Program Regional Managers, Logistics and CLS Transport PMO, to ensure timely submission of required data.
  • Train site employees in proper work methods, following the GOP, and performance of their job duties.
  • Develop and monitor compliance of the program comprehensive Master Training Plan (MTP) database, ensuring all site personnel understand GOP procedures and ensure they are followed.
  • Review Quality Management System (QMS) - QT9 and make sure the sites can navigate to QT9 and find documents in QT9.
  • Review AMRO for aircraft status, calibrations, training, assembly trees, logistics orders, etc.
  • Ensure LGOP (Local General Operating Procedures) are performed and align with GOP procedures for local requirements.
  • Review and submit NRT requests IAW the PWS.
  • Monitor all required maintenance has been performed before flights.
  • Performs other qualified and related duties as assigned and requested.
