About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for procuring all materials and services related to the day-to-day business and non-GMP operations. This role involves utilizing the NetSuite ERP system to review purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy, generating and issuing purchase orders to selected vendors, and maintaining professional communication with suppliers.

Requirements

Experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and data import/export.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting, finance, business management, or supply chain.
Any business experience, particularly in procurement, data analysis, finance, buying, or office administration, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Utilize NetSuite ERP system to review and process purchase requisitions and orders.
Ensure timely communication with suppliers to manage deliveries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Collaborate with various departments, including R&D, Technical Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, EH&S, Clinical Operations, Legal, and Commercial, to fulfill purchasing needs.
Support departments by communicating supply chain issues that may impact clinical trials.
Relay ongoing or repeated issues to suppliers and collaborate with Supplier Quality for corrective actions.
Negotiate contracts and improve prices and terms of business with suppliers.
Review opportunities for business savings using negotiation and procurement best practices.
Maintain and update records on pricing and ordering of materials.
Generate reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for operational efficiencies.
