Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of supply chain is preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communications along with customer service skills.
Ability to problem solve.
Must have computer skills to communicate and process data.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
Must practice good personal hygiene.
Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review raw material planning reports for assigned supply categories and determine if orders need to be placed or existing orders adjusted for supplies.
Make necessary adjustments to systems to gain appropriate approvals and send them off to suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as necessary in order to make sure we have the right amount of inventory on hand, or in order, to meet production needs.
Resolve invoicing issues.
Partner with Research and Development with the sourcing of new supplies and/or new ingredients as needed.
Review inventory positions and production plans of assigned categories.
Make recommendations to the suppliers concerning order placement and/or order adjustments.
Provide forecasts to the suppliers weekly.
Provide documents/information to the quality department.
Actively participate in the commercialization process.
Other duties as assigned.
