Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of supply chain is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications along with customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must have computer skills to communicate and process data.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review raw material planning reports for assigned supply categories and determine if orders need to be placed or existing orders adjusted for supplies.
  • Make necessary adjustments to systems to gain appropriate approvals and send them off to suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as necessary in order to make sure we have the right amount of inventory on hand, or in order, to meet production needs.
  • Resolve invoicing issues.
  • Partner with Research and Development with the sourcing of new supplies and/or new ingredients as needed.
  • Review inventory positions and production plans of assigned categories.
  • Make recommendations to the suppliers concerning order placement and/or order adjustments.
  • Provide forecasts to the suppliers weekly.
  • Provide documents/information to the quality department.
  • Actively participate in the commercialization process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
