Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience sourcing mechanical components, instrumentation, pipe fittings, and related services.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills focused on problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

  • SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Coupa, Power Apps, and Power BI for reporting and accounts payable management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders using SAP and Coupa, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet operational and customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvements to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to clarify specifications and support sourcing decisions, ensuring alignment with project needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, securing favorable terms and supporting procurement-related continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to Lean Manufacturing efforts by streamlining procurement processes and providing backup support to team members as needed.
  • Spend most of their time managing procurement activities, supplier engagement, and collaborating internally to support operational goals.
  • Achieve success measured by timely and cost-effective procurement, strong supplier partnerships, and contribution to process improvements.
