Requirements

Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience as a Buyer within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and understanding of Government contractor purchasing requirements DFAR/FAR.
Knowledge of ERP and/or MRP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Microsoft Excel required.
Working knowledge of item attributes and their effects on MRP.
Ability to present possible solutions when notifying management of an issue.
Excellent organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge/understanding of Government contractor purchasing requirements.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Experience assisting with negotiations and ability to obtain mutually beneficial collaborative win win solutions.
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
