About The Position

An exciting opportunity for a Buyer has arisen in our Group Business Services – Operational Procurement team. As a Buyer, you will provide outstanding service to internal stakeholders by validating and satisfying requirements efficiently and effectively, as well as interface with internal supplier management teams and suppliers. Requirements

  • Associate degree with 3+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD, OR 5+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working across all areas of the business and regions
  • Prioritize, plan and manage daily workflow, purchasing tasks, status and reporting
  • Perform standard purchasing transactional and administrative tasks
  • Ensure supplier selection and sourcing recommendations are in accordance with agreed commodity strategies and commercial frameworks
  • Operate and comply with all purchasing processes, procedures and systems
  • Identify and recommend workflow process efficiency improvements
