ENVE is actively seeking a Buyer to support our operations and supply chain by managing purchasing activities that keep our business running smoothly. Success in this position will be achieved through strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers. ENVE Composites is a manufacturer of handmade carbon fiber bicycle rims, components, and bikes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • Level II: 3+ years’ experience in procurement, planning, or inventory management.
  • Level III: 5+ years’ experience in procurement, planning, or inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and procure raw materials, finished goods, and services based on demand requirements.
  • Evaluate requisitions and supplier proposals to select vendors based on cost, quality, delivery, and service criteria.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong supplier relationships, including negotiating and managing supplier agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery, and lead resolution of material shortages, non-conformances, and other supply issues.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and materials to improve cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain and analyze records related to supplier performance, cost history, delivery metrics, and inventory levels.
