Requirements
- 2 years of Purchasing or Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment or a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Processing requisitions/purchase orders
- Negotiating and enforcing Nucor’s commercial and legal contract terms and conditions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key vendors/contractors
- Contributing to Nucor enterprise-wide purchasing efforts
- Identifying opportunities for cost reduction
- Maintaining supplier compliance files
- Coordinating with operating departments on cost savings and improved processes
- Upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
