This role is designed as a cross-functional supply chain position with visibility across planning, procurement, and operations. It offers a unique opportunity to combine operational execution with data-driven decision-making while developing into a fully accountable Buyer and MRP professional.   The position is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and services while driving transparency and performance across the end-to-end supply chain.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision support
  • Working knowledge of SAP with ability to maintain accurate system data and support procurement processes
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, and inventory management
  • Technical knowledge of electronics components and related categories
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional presence and ability to build effective relationships
  • Tactful, clear, and cooperative communication style when interacting with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and self-management with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase orders to ensure timely material availability aligned with business requirements, including expediting, delivery tracking, and escalation management for delays
  • Select and manage suppliers within assigned categories (e.g., electrical components), supporting sourcing activities and supplier performance oversight
  • Monitor and manage material shortages, proactively implementing corrective actions to mitigate supply chain risks
  • Maintain and continuously improve SAP master data, ensuring accuracy across procurement and planning processes
  • Own and develop reporting on key metrics such as delivery performance, shortages, inventory levels, and supplier KPIs
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational and inventory optimization
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ensuring clear visibility across different inventory types while maintaining high service levels
  • Transition into full Buyer and MRP responsibilities, including material planning, demand alignment, procurement documentation, and data-driven decision support
