About The Position

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Buyer. This role is based in Davenport, IA. Candidate will be eligible for hybrid work location after onboarding. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

Associates degree OR high school diploma and 2+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of supply chain modules in ERP or MRP systems
Experience reading blueprints
MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook)

Responsibilities

Procure a variety of goods and services in accordance with company policies in an MRP/ERP environment.
Review and issue purchase-orders and make necessary changes to include: obtaining quotes, negotiating costs, payment terms, and related issues.
Expedite and track required parts or processes to support production schedules.
Serve as liaison between internal Eaton customers and suppliers.
Assist in resolving supplier related quality and billing issues.
Perform duties in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations in accordance with Eaton policies and procedures.
Performs small business spend plans and conducts small business spend reporting to comply with US Government Small Business Administration requirements.
