About The Position

This position is responsible for leading purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring the effective sourcing of quality goods and services at optimal cost, with a direct impact on spending efficiency and overall financial performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid identification and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to document processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management on new business development programs.
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, including obtaining and analyzing quotations based on cost, quality, and service.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, inventory agreements, and performance (OTD, scorecards, SCARs, RGRs).
  • Review and execute MRP purchase order recommendations for development materials and support inventory management of purchased components and raw materials.
  • Coordinate product transitions to Purchasing upon completion of development.
  • Create and maintain part numbers, master data, supply chain records, and the Approved Supplier List.
  • Monitor market conditions impacting materials and supplier availability.
  • Maintain customer Material Liability Agreements, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
