About The Position

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and committed Intermediate Buyer who is looking to grow long-term within a structured and evolving organization. The Role Reporting to the operations team, you will be responsible for the procurement of packaging materials by ensuring product availability, data accuracy, and effective coordination with our partners. You will actively contribute to the smooth execution of daily operations.

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or coordination
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual (French and English) required
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Validate pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate shipments with suppliers and customs brokers (imports)
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, primarily located outside Quebec
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
  • Create and maintain product items (SKUs) in the ERP system
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing and cost data
  • Contribute to optimizing inventory management
  • Obtain and manage required certificates (COC, COA)
  • Ensure all documentation is complete for sales and warehouse needs
  • Coordinate incoming shipments with the warehouse
  • Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of receiving documentation
  • Support the team and act as backup to the Product Manager as needed
  • Collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, and finance teams
  • Participate in continuous process improvement (LEAN approach)
