Requirements

• Knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle EBS / ASCP preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in supplier negotiation
• 7+ years of manufacturing purchasing experience

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced purchasing activities to procure materials, components, and services required for operations.
• Responsible for supplier coordination, expediting, cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and quality standards.
• Negotiate annual agreements.
• Plan and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow established procedures, practices and policies to contact vendors, obtain quotations.
• Examine bids, make awards, place orders and expedite delivery of goods/services.
• Exercise judgment and working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchase at a price consistent with quality, quantity, and scheduling requirements
