Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, including soliciting, negotiating, drafting, formulating, and administering purchase orders
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other applicable major; previous procurement experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. However, for some posted positions, a degree may be required to meet client or owning group requirement
  • For Federal project assignment, 2 years of experience with FAR, DFAR and other agency supplements as applicable, or other state or local contracting, bidding, and source selection practices depending on intended role
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Good organization skills required. Good presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Effectively and professionally conduct and coordinate activities associated with primarily procuring materials and equipment
  • Have good working knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles and practices, and techniques of ensuring task completion, project delivery processes, and supplier relationship expectations
  • Understand role of procurement and of this position in project delivery process, understand integration of procurement with other project functions, accomplish value-added expectations, and perform assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Have a good working knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, theories, and compliance requirements applicable to assigned group, subject area or commodity
  • Perform other duties as needed
