About The Position
The Buyer I position is a full-time role located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year. A Secret clearance is required, with the potential to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED plus 3 years’ experience.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, or military experience E3 and up.
- Active Secret clearance with the potential to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Responsibilities
- Buy merchandise or commodities, including both durable and non-durable goods.
- Analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield.
- Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements.
