You’ll handle specialized procurements—from high-tech equipment and materials to expert services and staff augmentation—ensuring everything we buy meets quality, cost, and compliance standards. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on procurement experience in a technical or regulated environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience evaluating cost and price data for different contract types (fixed-price, time & materials, etc.).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle procurement modules and SharePoint tools.
• Working knowledge of government acquisition requirements (FAR, DEAR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
• An active or previously held Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full procurement lifecycle—reviewing purchase requests and technical data packages, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts that deliver value and reliability.
• Analyze pricing, assess supplier performance, and ensure compliance with internal policies and Federal acquisition regulations.
• Work with engineers on complex specs, negotiate fair deals, and manage supplier relationships to ensure Centrus gets the right materials, services, and talent at the right time.
