Requirements

Experience in production planning and/or procurement in a specialised manufacturing or engineering environment
Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems, technical drawings and bills of materials
Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Hands-on, detail-oriented and solution-focused approach
Unrestricted and permanent right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice To Haves

Experience in subsea, offshore or cable technology
A relevant qualification would be advantageous

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule the production of customised submarine cable repair joints and assemblies
Ensure material availability and manage inventory, order status, bills of materials and routings in the ERP/MRP system
Source from specialised suppliers and negotiate prices, lead times and delivery terms
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, on-time delivery and technical capability
Coordinate transport, import and export activities, including documentation
Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Production, Quality and Finance
Continuously improve planning, procurement and inventory processes
