About The Position
Redwood Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Buy Back Center Attendant to join our team in Willits, CA! The schedule is Tuesday – Saturday 8AM – 4:30PM. Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. The pay range for this job is $20-21/hour.
Requirements
- Customer service skills and a great attitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment + random drug tests
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct all customers and employees upon arriving to the buy back center
- Processing payment
- Ensuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner
- Data entry
- Ensuring that incoming recycle loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material
- Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment
- Providing general upkeep of the center
- Heavy lifting of equipment and material
- Other laborer duties as assigned
