BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an experienced Part-Time Butcher to join their World-Class Team. This role involves receiving, preparing, cutting, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats. The Butcher will also assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and pre-packed deli items, as well as supporting the rotisserie chicken and full-service deli areas. A key aspect of this role is assisting members with special meat selections and arrangements, while maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards within the meat department. Team members are expected to carry out job functions with accountability, honesty, and integrity, prioritizing member needs and fostering a safe, positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment. The role requires a commitment to delivering excellent member service, resolving concerns, and upholding the company's GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and Club Standards for a grand opening look daily. This includes ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is accurate, and the club is clean and organized. The Butcher will also be responsible for understanding department performance reporting and the connection between consistent execution and business impact.
