Responsibilities

Chop meat to size for display or as ordered by the customer.
Cut, wrap, trim, produce sausage, packaging and pricing all meat items.
Maintain, fill, and stock cases, and receive merchandise in the meat department.
Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
Work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Prepare meat for display on the sales floor.
Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
Prepare, package, weigh, and price meat products for sale.
Cut and trim all meats using knives, bandsaw, slicer, etc.
Knowledge of prepared meats such as: sausage, gourmet burgers, prepared and seasoned chicken, kabobs, etc.
Receive, unload, and put away product delivery.
Stock, price, rotate and place product on meat displays according to DeCicco & Sons standards.
Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
Wash, trim, and wrap products.
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
