About The Position
We are a 115-year-old butcher shop located in Philadelphia's Italian Market. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Butcher Shop Retail Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a butcher shop or retail environment and possess strong customer service skills. This role involves assisting customers, weighing and wrapping meat products, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in a butcher shop or retail food environment preferred.
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing products.
- Ability to lift boxes and stand on your feet for 8 hour shift.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work full time or part time as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend availability.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of meat cuts and cooking methods is a plus.
