About The Position
The Busser is responsible for clearing plates and re-setting the table in a timely manner, as well as maintaining full water glasses and bread, if applicable. This role adheres to Sycamore's Policies and Procedures, acting as a role model and maintaining a positive and respectful attitude with coworkers and customers. The employee consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform duties, participates in monthly safety training, and demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings.
- California Food Handler card and Responsible Beverage Service training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Bilingual skill is a plus.
- Basic typing skills and ability to operate standard office equipment including: copier, fax, telephone, calculator, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS and Payroll systems.
Responsibilities
- Clearing plates during service and after guests have departed.
- Serving water upon guest arrival.
- Refill waters and bread throughout service.
- Resetting the table.
- Maintaining a clean work space.
- Completing check list before end of shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
