About The Position

A Busser supports the food and beverage team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment in hotel restaurants, lounges, or banquet areas. The role helps maintain high service standards and enhance the guest experience. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties include promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, maintaining dining-area cleanliness, setting tables, supporting banquet and event setups, and responding courteously and efficiently to guest requests. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Food Handler’s certificate or ServSafe certification is required.
• Current TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) is required.
• Must regularly stand and reach with hands and arms; frequently walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear and reset tables between guest seatings.
• Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread, and removing used dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, furniture, and service stations.
• Ensure proper setup of tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Support banquet and event setups as needed.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
