About The Position

Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group is seeking a Busser to join their team at Trattoria Reggiano in Las Vegas, NV. As a member of the team, you will have the unique ability to make our guests feel extra special and make their day. Superior service is an essential ingredient that makes the dining experience stand out. It is expected that while working for Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group, you will place both exterior guests (our customers) and interior guests (other team members) as your highest priority. There is a 180-day introductory period for all new hires, during which performance will be evaluated. Excellent attendance and schedule flexibility are required.

Requirements

  • Superior Guest Service skills.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
  • Must be able to regularly and safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and materials weighing 25 lbs. or more.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
  • Must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Be in proper dress (wear nametag, etc.) and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Be on time for all scheduled shifts; attendance is essential.
  • Follow all CALL IN procedures if you will be absent.
  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift.
  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to the table.
  • Reset tables in a speedy, professional, and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant.
  • Take tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Between settings, promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths.
  • Check the floor and clean as required.
  • Reset and arrange tabletops.
  • Maintain the grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeters.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests.
  • Communicate guest requests to servers immediately.
  • Assist servers as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
  • Support servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables.
  • Thank guests as they are leaving.
  • Show flexibility in terms of schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Be a team player; help out fellow team members when possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
