About The Position

A Bus Person will provide support to restaurant servers and the overall operation of the restaurant by clearing and setting tables and replenishing service areas as necessary to ensure our guests’ satisfaction. Without this support the overall operations and quality of service provided by our servers will not be achieved. This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor.

Fluency of the English language is strongly preferred.
Ability to understand and compose instructions, memos, and short correspondence.

Nice To Haves

Food and Beverage knowledge would be beneficial.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds preferred.
Previous exposure to a restaurant environment preferred.
High School diploma, general education degree or international equivalent preferred.
CPR/Heimlich required or will provide training.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
Clean, set and clear tables in support of restaurant servers.
Provide serving support to servers – beverage and food
Maintain restaurant in clean and orderly manner.
Move table and chairs as required.
Coordinate stocking of linens with laundry operations.
Transport all dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
Stock and maintain stations with necessary equipment – china, glass, linen and silver.
Serve water, bread, butter, condiments and beverage such as coffee, tea.
Helping other outlets within the department as needed.
Responsible for practicing, managing and promoting our Mission and Values so that if becomes intricate part of the everyday operation.
Completes any duties or projects assigned by the Food and Beverage manager.
