About The Position

We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Busser to join our service team at Petit Ermitage, a hotel known for its warmth, charm, and elevated guest experience. The Busser is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming guests, clearing and resetting tables, maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, and supporting the service team to enhance overall guest satisfaction. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Minimum one year experience as a busser, runner, server or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, push, pull, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
• Standing or walking during entire 8-hour or longer shifts.
• Must regularly lift, carry, push, and, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, and quickly respond to all requests in a well-spoken, thoughtful, friendly and helpful manner; thank guests for staying with us at every opportunity.
• Provide a positive first impression for each and every guest to the Hotel.
• Gracefully clear and meticulously reset tables to maintain an impeccable dining environment for each arriving guest.
• Prepare and present tables in alignment with the restaurant’s elevated service standards.
• Anticipate and support service needs by assisting with the delivery of cuisine, beverages, and essential accompaniments.
• Uphold the pristine condition of all dining areas, including floors and service stations, ensuring a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
• Attentively replenish water, beverages, and condiments to enhance the guest experience.
• Contribute to seamless operations by supporting opening and closing preparations with care and precision.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the appropriate team members to ensure full satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
• Adhere to the highest standards of sanitation and safety, reflecting a commitment to excellence and guest well-being.
• Other duties as assigned.
