Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written).
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40–50 lbs (e.g., trays, dish racks, furniture)
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
- Manual dexterity to handle dishes, glassware, and cleaning tools safely
- Ability to work in a hot, wet, and noisy environment (kitchen and dining areas)
- Ability to navigate crowded spaces while carrying items safely
- Visual and auditory ability to identify spills, hazards, and guest needs
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure efficient table turnover and a smooth dining experience.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Assist in the cleaning and preparation of various dining areas and equipment.
- Refill supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments, as needed.
- Support the team by providing assistance during busy periods or special events.
- Foster a positive and friendly atmosphere for guests by engaging with them and addressing their needs.
