About The Position

HOTEL EQUITIES, A MULTI-AWARD-WINNING HOTEL DEVELOPMENT AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT COMPANY, IS CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR A REMARKABLE BUSSER FOR THE LUMEN8 ROOFTOP SOCIAL AT THE SPRINGHILL SUITES & ELEMENT COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO. THE POSITION REQUIRES PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION. SETS AND CLEARS RESTAURANT TABLES; STOCKS ALL SERVICE STATIONS AND ASSISTS FOOD SERVERS WITH TABLE SERVICE TO ENSURE TOTAL GUEST SATISFACTION.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to understand and communicate English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bussing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
• Assist in the stocking of server stations.
• Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking sidestands in assistance to the food servers.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, answering telephones and taking room service orders, handling special guest requests, helping to maintain and or organize buffet, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring guest satisfaction according to Hilton guidelines.
