About The Position

The Busser supports the restaurant’s wait staff and helps maintain a clean, inviting dining area. The role involves clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and contributing to smooth guest service in a fast-paced restaurant. Bussers are expected to maintain a guest-focused approach and uphold the company’s values of hospitality, quality, cleanliness, community involvement, pride, and integrity. The position is part-time. The required availability is between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. The job requires standing and working for up to four hours at a time, repetitive physical activity, lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, and working in temperatures exceeding 85 degrees for extended periods.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must be available to work between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.
Must be able to stand and work for up to four hours at a time.
Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without restraints, braces, or other limitations on range of motion or physical activity.
Must be able to lift, move, and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85 degrees for extended periods.
Willingness to follow directions and ask questions for clarification when needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Positive, upbeat, and reliable can-do attitude, strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set tables with clean linens and silverware and reset tables between seatings.
Promptly remove used dishes, silverware, glasses, and linens as guests finish their meal or courses are completed.
Transport used tableware to the dishwashing area and sort and stack items in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, furniture, side stations, and restrooms.
Assist servers with delivering food and refilling beverages.
Communicate guest needs to servers as appropriate.
Coordinate with servers and hosts to support efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
