About The Position

The Busser supports restaurant operations at Cascades in the Stanley Hotel by clearing and resetting tables, keeping dining and service areas clean and stocked, and assisting waitstaff and guests. The position requires frequent movement and standing throughout the shift, as well as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment.
• Full range of mobility and ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly throughout the shift.
• Able to stand continuously during preparation, service, or expediting.
• Ability to read meters and controls.

Responsibilities

• Clear used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables; wipe tables and chairs; and remove debris and crumbs from surrounding floor areas.
• Reset tables according to established standards so they are ready for new customers.
• Remove full tubs from bus stations to the dishwashing area and keep bus stations clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dish room and distribute them to service stations.
• Sweep restaurant floors throughout the shift.
• Retrieve requisitioned stockroom items, verify requisitions are complete and correct, and stock supplies in the proper places while rotating stock.
• Assist waitstaff by refilling beverages and responding to requests for condiments, food items, or clean tableware.
• Keep ice stations filled by carrying ice from the main ice machine.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
