About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is seeking passionate individuals for part-time and full-time roles in their dining environment at the Moab Brewery located in the Salt Lake City International Airport. This position is responsible for ensuring guests have an amazing experience by greeting them warmly, accurately processing transactions, and thanking them with a smile. The role involves creating and delivering first-class experiences for travelers, supporting the company's mission, and maintaining a safe work environment of trust and respect free of harassment. The Moab Brewery brings the spirit of adventure and award-winning craft beer and food to travelers, offering a taste of Utah.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Customer service focused and solution oriented.
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
  • Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
  • Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
  • Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.

  • Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Embody a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members.

  • Recognize and satisfy all restaurant guests and be accountable to managers.
  • Warmly greet, acknowledge, and take guests' drink and food orders within 30 seconds of them entering the concept, offering recommendations.
  • Confirm order and modifications with guests prior to processing payment.
  • Accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests using the point-of-sale system.
  • Handle money, process credit and debit cards, and make change while complying with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant's menu and products.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns, enlisting the assistance of a Manager if necessary.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Assist with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and helping as needed.
  • Support other areas of the restaurant as requested, such as seating customers, answering telephones, stock work, cleanup, and documentation.
  • Actively participate in food safety programs, including proper cleaning and sanitation of the assigned location and keeping accurate food safety logs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment that is free of safety hazards.
  • Ensure the area is well stocked, rotating product as necessary.
  • Receive positive Secret Shopper scores.
  • Ask correct SMG related questions for positive comments.
  • Be compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including those relating to food safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
