As a Busser/Food Runner at the Beach House Restaurant at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth service by assisting servers and delivering food to guests. Your focus will be on maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, supporting the wait staff, and providing a seamless dining experience for our guests. Restaurant is located on the beach!
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently while adhering to hotel cleanliness standards.
- Assist in delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the correct dishes are served.
- Work closely with servers to ensure guests have everything they need, including refilling drinks, providing extra utensils, and clearing plates.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of service stations and dining areas before and after meal service.
- Support servers and kitchen staff during events, ensuring that food is delivered quickly and tables are properly cleared.
