About The Position

Peraton is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking leader to join the Health State and Local (HSL) Sector as a Vice President/GM – DHA/VA. This strategic business area focuses on delivering mission-enabling technology, solutions, and services to customers. The portfolio includes multiple flagship contracts that provide mission-critical applications, mission-critical infrastructure, and enterprise capabilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, business growth, program execution, P&L, business operations, workforce engagement, and financial success in collaboration with the sector President. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence vision and refine execution plans to drive substantial revenue growth. It is a highly visible position where results will materially impact the company's long-term market share, revenue, and profit objectives. In this capacity, you will lead a portfolio of large and complex programs and opportunities by developing and executing the strategy and vision, encompassing goals, client interface, communication, team structure, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with at least 16 years of professional experience.
  • Proven management cadence, process for driving results quarter over quarter
  • High energy, impeccable integrity, and operates at start-up speed
  • Knowledge of current and future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information that may impact corporate business performance within the target market.
  • Specific experience supporting one or more of; VA, DHA, VHA, and/or Health.
  • Must have experience managing in excess of a $175mil in P&L portfolio
  • Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain position of Public Trust Clearance.

  • Thorough understanding of customer’s missions across their entire enterprise. Intimate knowledge of the problems to be solved, domain and functional capabilities needed, and the competitive market landscape.
  • Deep expertise at leading large P&L organizations in excess of $150M+.
  • Candidates must be local to DC metro area or Ausitin, Texas location(s).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and mature key relationships within the customer organizations.
  • Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
  • Manage a function that includes multiple related Operating Units/programs.
  • Involvement and oversight of complex functional activities that will have a major impact on business operations for the business unit, sector and company.
  • Responsible for all phases of the business unit budget.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
  • Develop and manage standards and methods related to a performance measurement framework which focuses on key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Travel required as dictated by business need.
