The Business Unit Manager is responsible for the full profit-and-loss (P&L) ownership and overall operational leadership of the business unit. This role has direct accountability for financial performance, pricing strategy, cost management, operational execution, and long-term value creation in alignment with a decentralized operating model and value-based culture. The Business Unit Manager leads cross-functional teams spanning operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, sales, and finance to achieve aggressive performance targets. Key responsibilities include setting and executing pricing strategies, driving productivity and margin improvement initiatives, managing customer relationships, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, and developing and executing strategic growth plans. The Business Unit Manager is expected to apply strong analytical rigor, make data-driven decisions, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. The role requires active leadership in talent development, succession planning, and cultural stewardship, while maintaining strict adherence to ethical standards, safety, and compliance requirements.
