Lockheed Martin’s Space Operations & Analytics program is seeking a Business Transformation Project Lead in Herndon, VA. Join the Operations & Analytics program to drive change and gain unprecedented experience in the space & national security industry focusing on the planning, production, and operation of spacecraft in our dynamic and growing program. You will oversee a portfolio of projects advancing business transformation and other program initiatives focusing on organizational change, training, moving to a fixed-price mindset, and facilities planning / coordination. This position will focus on innovation and driving change while overseeing multiple cross-function, people-focused efforts. This position requires an experienced and confident team builder with exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate an innate desire for personal growth, professional / technical curiosity, and problem-solving acumen. In this role you will: Oversee multiple projects advancing transformation and other program initiatives Act as the focal point for driving change and posturing the program for accelerated growth in a dynamic and rapidly evolving global security environment Identify and advance the implementation of transformation initiatives to increase program efficiencies across engineering and production functions Lead and status critical program-level initiatives with senior executive attention.

Requirements

Program/project management experience and demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience presenting to Executive level internal and external customers
Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Top Secret clearance is required prior to start with the ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
Strong interest in project leadership, organizational change, and technical / engineering issues along with desire to expand professional knowledge.
Facilities / capital planning experience – especially with LM Space.
Experience advancing change through training and outreach.
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.
Proficiency with collaboration and program management tools.
Experience in space or national security industries.
Experience leading knowledge continuity initiatives
