About The Position

The Lead Business Analyst – AI Transformation plays a critical role in accelerating digital delivery by bridging business strategy, product vision, and engineering execution in an AI enabled development model. This role partners closely with Product Managers and delivery teams to gather, refine, and translate business and technical requirements into AI ready specifications and prompts that generate high quality user stories and development artifacts. This role leverages AI tooling to dramatically shorten traditional agile cycles—enabling rapid, incremental delivery measured in days rather than weeks—while maintaining strong agile fundamentals. The Lead Business Analyst is expected to challenge legacy ways of working, adapt quickly in a fast moving transformation environment, and collaborate daily with cross functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in testing and/or systems background.
  • Thorough understanding of operational procedures and systems.

  • Strong foundation in Agile principles and practices, with the ability to adapt them to new, AI‑accelerated delivery models.
  • Proven experience gathering and translating complex business and technical requirements into actionable specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced digital transformation environments and challenge legacy thinking.
  • Experience working closely with Product Management in modern product‑centric delivery models.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted development, prompt engineering, or AI‑enabled requirements generation.
  • Technical or IT background that supports effective collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Works with client personnel to identify required changes
  • Defines and refines test conditions
  • Communicates needed changes to development team.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively; may be responsible for assigning and reviewing project tasks completed by others
  • May lead team and client meetings
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluates alternative business solutions
  • Solves complex problems in creative ways; significant initiative and independent judgment required; makes varied decisions; operates with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision; typically plans, conducts and supervises assignments, reviews progress and evaluates results; exhibits leadership skills; mentors employees across teams; may manage the workload of others.
