About The Position

At Regions, the Business Transformation Consultant oversees the systematic deployment of project activities, tools, and processes throughout the lifecycle of a transformation. Ensures projects remain on time/within budget, certifies project goals and success markers are met. This position collaborates with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors supporting and executing the full project life cycle to achieve specific business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s of Business Administration and four (4) years of transformation or project management experience
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and four (4) years of directly related experience in business transformation at a top tier consulting firm, e.g. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, E&Y
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and six (6) years of transformation or project management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a top 5 consulting firm is highly valued and may substitute two of the eight years for traditional transformation experience due to the depth, scale, and strategic impact of work performed in these environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • One (1) year of banking or financial services experience
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Partners with key business, technology and operations stakeholders to successfully implement the bank’s transformation goals
  • Utilizes transformation organization’s framework to plan, execute and transition delivery of simple – intermediate transformation programs or threads on complex programs
  • Develops and manages overall project plans to ensure transformation status and identify risks to success
  • Supports transformation managers on delivery of enterprise programs
  • Works independently to draft project deliverables for review with Transformation Managers
  • Maintains ownership during all phases of a program to ensure deliverables are executed according to plans
  • Solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project related deliverables
  • Provides project and program status reporting
